Hi, my name is Peter Walker although many of my friends know me by the nickname of “Walks”.
I took early retirement from a position as an International Executive in August 2018 and one of the things on the ‘bucket list’ was to take up art.
I started to share my paintings with my friends on Facebook and received lots of positive encouragement. Many said that my pictures made them “smile”, which is wonderful. So the primary purpose of this website is to share the pictures with a wider audience, and to create a blog so that I can talk about the pictures and my painting ‘journey’ … which is a constant learning process.
When you take a look at the gallery, you will see that some pictures are marked ‘Sold’. If you would like to own a piece of original artwork in a similar style to something in the gallery please message me your thoughts at wa***@*****************om.au and we can chat.
